The ideal candidate will perform a range of dental procedures, manage patient records, and work collaboratively with other medical professionals to provide top-notch care for our patients. 🔧 Responsibilities:
- 🦷 Meet with patients to discuss dental concerns and create personalized treatment plans.
- 🦷 Perform a variety of dental procedures such as extractions, root canals, and fillings.
- 🦷 Correct bite issues and overcrowding to improve oral health.
- 🦷 Apply dental agents like sealants or whiteners to teeth.
- 💊 Prescribe medications for dental problems and offer pain relief.
- 🩻 Order diagnostic measures such as X-rays and models for accurate diagnosis.
- 🦷 Use specialized tools (drills, probes, brushes, and mirrors) to examine and treat teeth and mouth.
- 📝 Maintain detailed patient records and treatment histories.
- 🤝 Collaborate with other healthcare staff to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- 💡 Educate patients on oral hygiene, dental care, and the importance of regular check-ups.
- 🧼 Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to safety regulations and standards.
- 💬 Communicate with other medical staff about patient medications to ensure effective treatment.
🎓 Qualifications:
- 🎓 Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Dental Medicine (DMD).
- 🏅 Valid Practicing License.
- 🧑⚕️ Additional certifications or experience in dental care may be an advantage.
- 💻 Strong computer skills and experience with healthcare databases and applications.
- 📜 Willingness to comply with local, state, and federal laws in dental and healthcare practices.
- 🗣️ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 🦷 Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and diagnostics.
- 🏅 Good management and organizational skills.
